STORTEC Engineering Ltd is looking for personnel to assist with the engineering and detailing of our range of bulk liquid and gas storage products.

1. Trainee CAD Draughtsperson
   This junior role would suit a college leaver who has gained a qualification in a mechanical engineering subject.  The candidate should ideally have been exposed to 3D CAD modelling during their studies.  We will train the successful candidate to work with SolidWorks 3D CAD to develop engineering models and drawings for our range of storage systems and structures.
2. CAD Draughtsperson
   The ideal candidate for this intermediate position would hold an HNC or HND in a mechanical engineering subject, and have two years’ experience of the use of Solidworks 3D CAD system within a steel fabrication and/or construction industry environment.  The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of steel fabrication materials and techniques.  They should be able to follow instructions and procedures, and will be encouraged to develop their abilities to work under their own initiative.  Candidates must be able to demonstrate proficient use of the CAD environment.  The role will involve working across multiple projects at various stages of the delivery cycle.  We will provide product training to the successful candidate.
