Oatly, Peterborough

Project Overview

The Peterborough project was a project that STORTEC undertook for our valued client Veolia Water Technologies. Veolia were tasked by a Swedish based firm Oatly.

Oatly planned to build one of the world’s largest plant-based milk factories in Peterborough where Veolia built a wastewater treatment plant (WwTP) at the new food production facility.

Due to the high temperature of waste effluent coming to the plant and the fluctuating pH values, STORTEC worked collaboratively with Veolia to specify the correct tank sheet material that would be suitable for the application and increase the plants overall design life.

Our Scope included:

  • All tanks installed were constructed from our ULTRASTORE® Stainless Steel product.

The benefits of ULTRASTORE®…
