From 1^st September 2020, our major shareholder’s management company is rebranding to BioteCH4 Ltd.

The new group name is intended to better reflect the primary activities of the group businesses and the industries within which they operate.  As part of the rebranding there has also been some administrative and management restructuring and consolidation.  This is a strategic realignment of the Group businesses by our major shareholders and will have no impact on the day to day activities of STORTEC Engineering Ltd.  Outwardly, these changes may become apparent at shareholding and board level to some of the existing group companies.

The Directors of STORTEC Engineering Ltd would like to reassure all of our customers and suppliers that, for us, these changes mean nothing more than business as usual.  We will continue to offer our expertise and storage products across the spectrum of clean and dirty water, process, and bio-energy.  Please contact us through the usual routes with any enquiries or opportunities.  We look forward to continued and new relationships on future projects.

STORTEC Engineering Ltd has been very much involved with the UK Water, Sewerage and Renewable Energy Sectors since our incorporation two years ago. The current COVID-19 pandemic situation requires that our Directors are regularly reviewing their responsibilities to our staff and the general population in line with the published Government guidelines.

STORTEC Engineering Ltd is currently contracted to deliver a number of water and energy infrastructure projects across the UK. We have been advised by water authority Clients that they consider our activities critical to their responsibilities to maintain water and sewage services to the nation. In accordance with the Government guidelines we have taken the necessary steps to implement changes to working practices across our business. Those employees that are able to work from home are now working remotely. We have significantly reduced the number of personnel necessary in our head office which has enabled us to provide more workspace to those that remain, following the social distancing recommendations. Our construction activities are reviewed daily in accordance with the developing recommendations and situation. Our dedicated workforce are implementing the necessary changes to their working procedures to maintain their social distancing and enhanced hygiene practices.

The Directors of STORTEC Engineering Ltd would like to thank all of our employees who continue to give their best efforts during these difficult times. We would also like to reassure the general public that our on-going activities are necessary to deliver the essential infrastructure improvements that are still required during and beyond the pandemic situation.
